K. Vijay Kumar appointed Director General of Central Reserve Police Force
October 4th, 2010 - 10:57 pm ICT by ANINew Delhi, Oct.4 (ANI): K. Vijay Kumar, who is presently Director of the National Police Academy,was appointed as Director General of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) here on Monday, said an official release.
Vijay Kumar, an Indian Police Service (IPS) officer of the 1975 batch (Tamil Nadu cadre), will succeed Vikram Srivastava.
Meanwhile, Mr. Srivastava has been moved to the Bureau of Police Research and Development (BPRD) as its new Director General.
The appointment will take effect from the date of their joining the post. (ANI)
