Washington, December 3 (ANI): A guitar strap used by Jimi Hendrix in 1969 is expected to fetch 35,000 dollars in a forthcoming Los Angeles auction.
The framed band had been presented to the veteran rocker by Graham Central Station star David Vega.
The accessory will be put up for grabs at the Profiles in History sale on December 11 along with a Woodstock Music and Art Festival poster, reports Contactmusic.
The legendary guitarist-singer, who pioneered the technique of guitar feedback with overdriven amplifiers, had headlined the 1969 Woodstock Festival.
Hendrix had won many of the most prestigious rock music awards during his lifetime and even more after, including being inducted into the US Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1992 and the UK Music Hall of Fame in 2005. (ANI)
