Karachi, Nov 10 (ANI): CDs containing hate material like macabre documentaries of beheading and attacks, with holy tabla music in the background, are abundant and easily available across the shelf in Pakistani cities of Karachi, Quetta and Peshawar.

Such CDs, produced by international terrorist organization Al Qaeda, are mainly produced at Kabul, Qandahar, Jalalabad and Quetta, and later distributed on a wholesale basis in Pakistani town and cities.

They are bought by teenagers, who after drawing inspiration after seeing their brethren being killed, vow to take revenge and take to terrorism, reported the Daily Times.

These brainwashing tools are brought into Karachi through two routes. They are produced in Peshawar, from where they are transported to Dera Ismail Khan and then brought to Karachi. In the second route, the music and films are produced in Chaman, then they are transported to Quetta and from there they are brought to Karachi.

The documentaries invoke the spirit of jihad among the young Muslim boys and invite them to unite against imperialist powers and infidels. The music brainwashes the Muslim youth into thinking that violence is the right and faithful way to resist the oppressor, added the paper.

Though, the Pakistani government has banned such literature, yet these documentaries and music can easily be purchased in Karachi, Islamabad, Peshawar and other settled areas of the country. Religious circles and naive youngsters mostly purchase this literature, despite tall claims made by the police that they were taken strict measures to stop the practice.

Crime Investigation Department (CID) SSP Fayyaz Khan said that the authorities were taking a stern action against those involved in this business. Karachi police confiscated hundreds of such cassettes and arrested dealers in Sohrab Goth, a few months ago. We are determined to crush all those involved in the business, said Khan. (ANI)
