Jennifer Aniston refuses to share mag-cover space with Jennifer ConnellyJune 21st, 2008 - 5:36 pm ICT by ANI
New Delhi, June 21 (ANI): American magazine photogs had a tough time handling Jennifer Aniston, after she threatened to pull out of the photo shoot if co-star Jennifer Connelly joined her on the front cover.
The former Friends star was to appear in a new issue of America’s Marie Claire magazine to promote her latest movie He’s Just Not That Into You, but apparently refused to pose with Connelly featured in main photographs.
“She threatened to pull out if Jennifer was part of the cover. It was all about getting Jennifer Aniston front and centre and looking as sexy as possible,” the China Daily quoted a source as telling Life and Style Weekly magazine.
Movie insiders claim that the two Jennifers didn’t gel, while working together.
“There was no camaraderie between those two whatsoever. They didn’t seem like friends in the slightest, said a source.
However, the 39-year-old actress rep has denied any such incident, insisting that the two actresses became good friends on the movie.
“There is no drama whatsoever. Marie Claire wanted Jennifer Aniston alone. It was our idea to make it a group cover as Jennifer Aniston has a smaller supporting role in the film, the representative said.
“The magazine only wanted to put three of them on the cover and definitely wanted Drew Barrymore.
“We recommended Ginnifer Goodwin because she is basically the lead role in the film. Jennifer got along great with Jennifer Connelly,” the rep added. (ANI)
