JD-U looking for an alliance with BJP

Bharatiya Janata Party New Delhi, July 27 (ANI): The Delhi Unit of the Janata Dal-United (JD-U) on Tuesday decided to contest the next Delhi elections with the National Democratic Alliance (NDA)-led Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) if a deal is struck with the saffron outfit or contest the elections on its own.

JD-U Delhi unit General Secretary and spokesperson Prabhat Ranjan said: “The party met today under the chairmanship of JD (U) General Secretary Javed Raza and decided that if a deal is struck with the BJP, it would contest the next Delhi elections with the BJP support or contest on its won.”

JD-U President Sharad Yadav was also present on the occasion along with a host of others party leaders. (ANI)
