New Delhi, Oct 28 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) spokesperson Prakash Javadekar maintained silence over the meeting between Leader of Opposition L.K. Advani and Rashtriya Swayam Sevak Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat.
Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, Javadekar said: “I don’t have any information about the meeting, I would also be meeting Bhagwatji in the evening.”
Earlier in the day, Bhagawat met Advani at his Prithviraj Road residence. The meeting lasted for over 30 minutes.
Today’s meeting comes in the backdrop of Bhagwat’s statement that the BJP needs a complete overhaul to improve its image and performance at the national level.
On Tuesday, Bhagwat said in Jaipur, “As far as the BJP is concerned, I don’t know what medicine, surgery or chemotherapy they need. They themselves have to diagnose it. If they being a volunteer of the RSS need any help in their organisation, we are happy to do it.” (ANI)
