Janet Jackson admitted to hospital ahead of Canadian gig
September 30th, 2008 - 5:09 pm ICT by ANIWashington, Sept 30 (ANI): Singer Janet Jackson has been admitted to hospital after she fell ill hours before her scheduled concert in Montreal, Canada.
The 42-year-old singer got suddenly “ill” during a sound check and had to ultimately cancel her performance due on September 29.
The R&B superstar was to take the stage as part of the Rock Witchu tourher first in seven years, reports Contactmusic.
According to a statement released by W&W Public Relations, the star is under doctors observation at a nearby hospital
However, no further details of the singer’’s current condition have been issued until now. (ANI)
