Jalandhar hotelier’s son shot dead by nephew of Akali Dal MLA

Jalandhar, Apr 21 (ANI): Gur Kerat Singh, the son of hotelier Rajbir Singh, was allegedly shot dead by the nephew of a Shiromani Akali Dal MLA here this morning.

According to the police, 32-year-old Gur Kerat Singh was shot dead at 1.45 a.m. by Shiromani Akali Dal MLA from Adampur Sarabjit Singh Makkar’s nephew Ram Simran Singh Makkar and his three associates.

The police have registered a case against the four accused on the basis of the complaint lodged by the hotelier.

It has been reported that Rajbir Singh, the owner of Hotel Sekhon Grand, has in his FIR alleged that Ram Singh along with his three associates killed Gur Kerat Singh.

The other accused of murdering the hotelier’s son are Amardeep Singh Sani, Jaspreet Singh Jassu and Prince Narula.

Further investigation is on in the case and the police is making all efforts hold of the accused. (ANI)
