New Delhi, Nov 16 (ANI): Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki met his Indian counterpart SM Krishna here today.
Mottaki is on a two-day visit to India.
Earlier in the day, he met Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
The two leaders reportedly discussed issues like the trilateral gas pipeline and terrorism originating from Pakistan.
This is the first high-level contact since the re-election of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmedinejad in July.
Discussions on collaborative projects like development of integrated port-road-rail infrastructure are also likely to crop up.
Talks on Iran’s controversial nuclear programme are also likely to be discussed between the two leaders.
This is Mottaki’s second visit since 2006. He will also meet Vice President Hamid Ansari. (ANI)
