International Chef’s Day observed in Coimbatore

- Coimbatore, Oct. 20 (ANI): Hundred of chefs participated in rally in Coimbatore to observe International Chef’s Day on Tuesday.
Students of the hotel management also participated in the rally, holding placard and banners.
The rally focussed on benefits of healthy foods for a healthy lifestyle.
“Today International Chefs Day is celebrated and as part of it we are conducting a rally for that. We have focussed on food safety and prevention of food wastage. We have more than 150 students participating in the rally,” said Hariharan, a Hotel Management student.
The rally was also aimed at disseminating information about the hotel industry among the public.
“We are trying to create awareness for people to get more knowledge about the hotel industry and to know the nutrition and food which is being used in the hotel industry,” said Vishnu, a chef.
International Chef’s Day is observed across the world on 20 October. (ANI)
