Infiltration bid foiled, two militants killed in Kupwara
October 30th, 2009 - 1:47 pm ICT by ANI ( Leave a comment )Kupwara, Oct 30 (ANI): Two militants were killed when army troops foiled an infiltration bid in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Friday.
According to a defence spokesman, the two heavily-armed infiltrators were confronted by the Army when they were trying to sneak into Keran sector.
The terrorists opened fire at the troops. The fire was returned, triggering a gun battle in which two militants were killed, a defence spokesman added.
