New Delhi, Oct.25 (ANI): Describing the relations between India and the United States as a “partnership”, instead of a “donor” and ” recipient”, top US officials on Monday said the forthcoming visit of President Barack Obama will focus on what the two countries can do together.”A year later we don’t want to be talking about it, but demonstrate in clear terms how the partnership will move forward and significantly,” said a senior official, referring to the warm personal relations shared between the U.S. President Obama and Indian Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh since the latter’s visit to Washington undertaken in November.Speaking to media persons in New Delhi, the US officials expressed optimism about flourishing trade relations between the two countries and projected that bilateral trade with India may touch a record level of about $50 billion this year.According to the US officials, defence, climate change, science and technology, education, health, clean energy, trade, market access, and high-tech exports were on Obama’s priority list during the forthcoming visit.Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh was Obama’s first official state visitor in November 2009, and now Obama has planned a return visit to New Delhi starting from November 5 this year.
