Indian team leaves for Sri Lanka, Dhoni to join Saturday
July 9th, 2010 - 2:47 pm ICT by ANIChennai, July 9 (ANI): The Indian team left on Friday for Sri Lanka to play three Tests and a tri-nation ODI series, starting July 18.
Skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni will join the team a day later as he is to receive an honorary membership of the Madras Cricket Club this evening.
Reserve stumper Wriddhiman Saha will fly directly to Sri Lanka from London.
After completing the Test assignment, India will play a tri-series, also involving New Zealand, from August 10. (ANI)
