Indian border guards shoot dead Pakistani intruder
June 28th, 2009 - 5:56 pm ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )Jammu, June 28 (IANS) Indian border guards Sunday said they shot dead a suspected intruder near the border with Pakistan in Jammu and Kashmir.
According to a spokesman of the Border Security Force (BSF), the infiltrator tried to enter the Indian territory from Pargwal, about 35 km north of here.
The BSF guards noticed his movement and challenged him. He, however, didn’t stop and was shot dead, the spokesman said.
But the official did not disclose if any recoveries were made from the intruder.
