India and Namibia sign two bilateral agreements on energy

New Delhi, Aug 31(ANI): India and Namibia on Monday signed two bilateral agreements on Pan-Namibian Network project and three Memorandum of Understandings (MoUs).
The two bilateral agreements were in the field of communication and cooperation in the field of peaceful uses of nuclear energy.
The memorandums related to exemption from Visa requirement for diplomatic and official passports holders, Geology and Mineral Resources and cooperation in the field of defence.
After signing the bilateral agreements, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh said that India is committed to help Namibia in all spheres.
Namibian President Hifikepunye Pohamba said that he was completely satisfied with the talks that he had with Manmohan Singh.
Both the countries were committed to Non-Aligned Movement and wanted continuation of reform process of United Nations, particularly democratisation of United Nations Security Council. (ANI)
