New Delhi, Apr 16 (ANI): Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh on Saturday said he is not disturbed by the criticism that he has faced in the recent months.
When asked how much the repeated criticism by the Opposition and civil society groups has disturbed him, Dr. Singh said: “I’m not disturbed by the opposition, civil society attacks.”
Dr. Singh was addressing a news conference onboard his aircraft enroute Kazakhstan capital Astana to New Delhi.
He returned home after a five-day visit to China and Kazakhstan.
Earlier, in January, leader of Opposition in the Rajya Sabha, Arun Jaitley, had accused Dr. Singh of leading the most corrupt government in the country’s history.
“It is a strange honesty that he (Dr. Singh) leads the most corrupt government in India since 1947,” Jaitley had said. (ANI)
