IGI Customs Police arrest two Afghans with herion worth 8 crore

“Movement of these Afghans were suspicious and therefore they were strictly kept under watch. They were intercepted by the Customs Preventive Officers in arrival hall of the IGI Airport,” said a press release issued by the Commissioner of Customs’ office.

Hazi Mohammad, aged 34 years and Mohammad Bagour, aged 29 years were booked under provisions of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.

In June this year, Customs police arrested an Afghan who arrived by the KAM Air after he was found with heroin valued at four crores in the international market. (ANI)
