New Delhi, Dec.11 (ANI): Janata Dal United President Sharad Yadav has termed the decision of the Bhartiya Janata Party to nominate Lal Krishna Advani as its Prime Ministerial candidate as the internal affair of the party.
He said that Advani has been our colleague and I dont have any problem in his nomination as the Prime Ministerial candidate.
BJP is the biggest constituent of the NDA and they have right to choose their Prime Ministerial candidate. Important thing is not the name but the National Agenda of governance and that really guides in governance, said Sharad Yadav.
He ruled out any impact on his minority constituency in Bihar because of the partys support to Advani.
Minority knows that it is the agenda of the NDA that is the cementing factor, asserted Yadav.
The Bharatiya Janata Party on Monday announced that the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, L.K. Advani, will be its prime ministerial candidate in the next general election.
The announcement came after a meeting of the BJP Parliamentary Board chaired by party president Rajnath Singh. (ANI)
