HuJI terrorist killed in Jammu and Kashmir
October 18th, 2009 - 12:23 pm ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )Jammu, Oct 18 (IANS) A top commander of the terrorist group Harkat-ul-Jihad-al-Islami (HuJI) was killed in a gun battle with security forces in Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said Sunday.
Mohammad Amin alias Rahi was killed in Sigdhi area of Kishtwar district, 240 km north-east of Jammu, late Saturday.
Amin, who had been dodging the security forces, was traced late Saturday and killed in a gun battle.
“He was district commander of HuJI and wanted in several cases of killings and extortions,” Superintendent of Police (Kishtwar) Haseeb Mughal said.
