Melbourne, Nov 22 (ANI): Aussie actor Hugh Jackman was a love rat during his primary school days, says his first ever girlfriend Sarah Dowsett of Lindhurst.

While revealing the story of love and betrayal, Sarah said that Jackman kissed her on the Pymble oval in 1977.

However, according to her, he left her for blonde Nicola at the end of grade four.

The tale about the primary school love quartet was exposed after Jackman named Dowsett as the first girl he ever kissed, and his first girlfriend as Martine Craswell in a tell-all interview with People magazine.

My first kiss was with Sarah Dowsett when I was 9. I was going from a coed school to a boys” school and I thought, If I don”t kiss a girl before I go to this school, I won”t get to kiss a girl, the Daily Telegraph quoted him as telling the magazine.

And my friend goes, ”Sarah Dowsett kisses. I kissed her once.” So I said to Sarah, ”I want you to know that I love you.” And she said, ”I love you too.” And I said, ”Do you want to go down to the bush and kiss?” She said yes. It was just (he purses his lips). I remember thinking, ”What is this all about? he added.

Dowsett, 39, who is now married and mother to two children, still remembers the kiss, but insists that her husband is a better kisser.

I can tell you my husband is a much better kisser than the sexiest man alive! she said.

She further revealed that the two of them had dated for at least a couple of terms, after dancing together to the soundtrack of Grease in dance meetings held before school.

There was a group of us that would meet every morning before school and dance to Grease, she said.

He was my partner and I think that’’s where it blossomed. I was his girlfriend for nearly the whole year, she recalled.

Then when I left at the end of year four, he dumped me for Nikki.
