Huge cache of explosives recovered in Assam
November 28th, 2010 - 1:00 pm ICT by ANIGuwahati, Nov 28 (ANI): A huge cache of explosives were recovered by G R P personnel at Badarpur railway station under Karimganj District of Assam last night.
According to police, the GRP personnel during their routine check up spotted an abandoned gunny bag at the railway gate and informed the police.
The police when opened the bag found 400 detonators and 180 gelatin sticks.
It is suspected that the explosives might have been brought for sending to neighbouring insurgency prone Dima Hasao Hill District by the goods train.
