Hillary meets Sonia Gandhi at her residence in New Delhi

New Delhi, July 20 (ANI): The visiting US secretary of state Hillary Clinton called on Congress President and United Progressive Alliance Chairperson Sonia Gandhi at her residence at 10, Janpath in New Delhi on Monday.
Both the leader discussed several issues, including cross-border terrorism and Indo-US relations.
Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi and Congress leader Karan Singh were also present during the meeting.
Sonia expressed optimism about the strengthening and future of India-US relations. She, however, expressed concern on the use of terrorism by Pakistan against India, said Congress party sources.
Prior to her meet with Sonia, Clinton called on Leader of Opposition L.K. Advani at his Prithviraj Road official residence.
Earlier in the day, she met the Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh, at his 7 Race Course Road official residence. (ANI)
