Melbourne, Oct 25 (ANI): The birth of late Aussie actor Heath Ledger’’s daughter Matilda Rose had a huge positive impact on him, according to a new book.

Author Janet Fife-Yeomans writes in the book Heath, a Family’’s Tale about how the late actor gave up his numerous affairs after he met his ex-fiancee Michelle Williams, and decided to start a family with her.

When Matilda, who lives with her mother in Brooklyn, was born, Ledger became a homebody who spent most of his time shopping and preparing the meals.

The level of synchronicity in my life now, with me and Michelle and now Matilda, (has) meant it’’s become everything to me — the most important thing I do, the Herald Sun quoted him as saying about caring for his family.

My child smiles up at me in the morning and that’’s it — I feel connected to life; this is what it’’s all about . . .
