Health conscious Liz Hurley to launch organic food line
October 4th, 2008 - 5:37 pm ICT by ANI - Send to a friend:Washington, October 4 (ANI): Model Elizabeth Hurley has revealed that she shall soon launch her farm produced low-fat products to provide women with healthier alternatives.
A devoted supporter of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, the former actress confessed that the organic food line may help reduce the risk of breast cancer.
The 43-year-old tells People, she is with a view that they”re not only going to be healthy, because they”re organic, but I”m obsessed that women find alternatives to eat which are low in fat.
Inspired by her life with husband Arun Nayar and son Damian, 6, on their biodynamic farm in the English countryside, the stunner further traced the risk of breast cancer in women to their diets.
She said: “I think we know now that many issues with women’’s health can be linked back to their diet.
“We”ve been saying for a long time that many breast cancer specialists recommend sticking to as low-fat a diet as possible, which all has to do with how estrogen is stored in the body.”
Liz also laid stress on the health benefits on following a diet of low-fat milk and other organic products.
“For a long time we”ve been telling women to try and follow a low-fat diet and try and switch from a high-fat milk to a zero-fat milk, she said.
Now we genuinely believe if any of even the zero fat milk is crammed full of antibiotics and hormones it can be very detrimental to your health,” she added. (ANI)
