Washington, Apr 28 (ANI): American actor Harrison Ford has admitted that he never tires of playing the iconic Indiana Jones character.

The role Ford played made him a household name nearly 20 years ago, and on the Entertainment Tonight show he talked about the upcoming fourth instalment in the series, Indiana Jones And The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull.

“I never tire of Indy,” Contactmusic quoted him as saying on the show.

The 65-year-old actor said that the delay in producing a fourth film was due to the length of time it took to find an appropriate script.

“It was a matter of finding a story that Steven Spielberg, George Lucas and I all agreed on. Ten years ago, I thought it wasn’t going to happen. They finally had something we were happy with and it went very smoothly after that,” he said.

The actor is also full of praise for his co-star in the upcoming film, Shia LeBeouf, who reportedly plays Indiana’s son Mutt.

“He is a delight, an absolute professional, well prepared and a really nice person. He works hard and I think he’s going to be around a long time,” he added.

The latest Indiana Jones film is due out in the UK on May 22nd. (ANI)
