Hamilton labeled a `cocky track bully by Polish racerOctober 11th, 2008 - 2:07 pm ICT by ANI
London, Oct.11 (ANI): A Polish racer has labeled Lewis Hamilton a cocky track bully.
Robert Kubica, who wants Ferraris Felipe Massa to snatch the title, slammed Hamilton for his driving in Italy last month when he overtook a clutch of fellow racers in a series of sweeping moves.
BMW star Kubica, who has been a friend of Hamilton since their karting days, was quoted by The Sun as saying: My head tells me Lewis will be world champion but my heart hopes it will be Felipe. I know Lewis is seven points clear but I would prefer Felipe.
There are two different ways you can drive. You can be aggressive but stay fair. Or you can be too aggressive and too self-confident. What Lewis did in Monza, that was too much.
Hamilton, 23, said: I dont care what the other guys think. Im here doing my own job. I represent my team, myself, my family, my country and I do it the best way I can.
Hamilton has 84 points seven clear of Massa and needs two wins from the final three races to be crowned F1 champion. (ANI)
