London, Sept 16 (ANI): More than one in every two Brit women would consider asking a friend to father their child if the right person doesn”t come along, a new survey suggests.

The survey shows that both men and women are concerned about their fertility levels and if they will meet the right partner.

Of the women asked, 56 per cent said that they would ask a male friend to father a baby with them, if they felt they had not met the right man and that their fertility levels could be declining, reports Times Online.

The study found that more ore than two thirds of women not at present in a relationship worry that they will not be able to conceive naturally, while 26 per cent of men have similar concerns.

The research also revealed that about half of single female respondents said that they thought about meeting the right partner frequently or daily, with many suggesting that they would consider settling for second-best if their search were fruitless. (ANI)
