Gwyneth Paltrow eyes Broadway stageDecember 5th, 2008 - 2:32 pm ICT by ANI
Washington, Dec 5 (ANI): After carving a niche for herself in Hollywood, Gwyneth Paltrow now eyes the Broadway stage.
The 36-year-old actress has put her acting career on the backburner to raise her kids with husband Chris Martin; Apple, four, and two-year-old Moses, but is keen on doing theatre roles.
She has committed to making just one movie a year, and insists she can no longer be regarded as a film ‘’star”.
Meanwhile, the Oscar winner has been calling on New York theatre bosses to cast her in some forthcoming productions.
“I look forward to playing Blanche DuBios (in A Streetcar Named Desire) on stage someday. And I”d really like to do a musical,” Contactmusic quoted her as saying. (ANI)
