London, October 18 (ANI): Madonna has based her divorce on extraordinary grounds the Queen of Pop is claiming that her hubby Guy Ritchie insulted her at various public occasions making her feel worthless.

The 50-year-old singer was believed to have had the upper hand in her marriage, but her claims have revealed an all-together different story, reports the Daily Mail.

The allegations include Guy humiliating Madonna in public saying she looked like a granny in comparison to her younger supporting dancers, and that she was far from being a good actor and had past it after crossing the 50-year mark.

The singers lawyers reportedly claimed that such humiliating behaviour on behalf of Guy tremendously affected her mental spirit.

Consequently, the singer is said to have started losing her legendary confidence forcing her to feel worthless, unattractive, and isolated during their eight-year marriage.

It might seem incredible that Madonna should be suggesting Guy was the dominant one in this marriage and that she was somehow the belittled party, the Daily Telegraph quoted a source, as saying.

He would laugh sarcastically at her jokes and take the mickey out of her in front of other people.

She felt particularly vulnerable and felt Guy played on that, telling her that she looked past it, which would damage her confidence.

She is alleging he would tell her that she really should give up the live touring and that she looked like a granny compared to the nubile youngsters dancing with her on stage.

She says that really belittled her. After a period of time, Madonna says the constant put-downs created a distance between them and that she felt totally isolated in the marriage.
