Grenade explosion in Srinagar
February 16th, 2012 - 9:58 pm ICT by IANSSrinagar, Feb 16 (IANS) Separatist guerrillas hurled a grenade outside a police station here Thursday but no damage was reported.
A Jammu and Kashmir Police officer said the attack took place near the old city’s Khanyar area.
“The grenade exploded on the road without causing any damage. As it was dark, it is not clear what was the target,” he said.
Locals said they heard firing shots after the explosion.
