Panaji, Oct 18 (ANI): : Goa police has deferred investigation into the alleged rape case of a minor German by Rohit, son of the States Education Minister in the absence of a statement by the girl to the police or her medical examination.
Superintendent of Police (North) Bosco George said, “We have deferred Rohit’’s arrest till we get the statement from the girl or we get her medically examined.”
On October 2, the girl’’s mother had lodged a complaint at Calangute police station.
According to reports, a few days ago Education Minister Atanasio Monserratte’’s 21-year-old son was booked on charges of rape, outraging the modesty and sending lewd text messages to the 14-year-old girl. (ANI)
