London, May 19 (ANI): George Lucas has hinted that a fifth Indiana Jones movie may be in the pipeline.

Lucas hinted to reporters about the possibility of the fifth sequel while walking the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival for the premiere of Kung Fu Panda, reports BBC.

“I haven’t even told Steven [Spielberg] or Harrison this,” he said.

“But I have an idea to make Shia [LaBeouf] the lead character next time and have Harrison come back like Sean Connery did in the last movie. I can see it working out,” he added.

Meanwhile, Steven Spielberg said that he is prepared to make another Indiana Jones movie if fans enjoy the long-awaited fourth film, Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

The Oscar-winning-director, who is at the Cannes Film Festival in France with stars Harrison Ford, Cate Blanchett and Shia LaBeouf at the films premiere, said at a press coniferous that he is happy to make another Indiana Jones movie only if you want more.

“That’s why we made this Indiana Jones. We’ll certainly have our ear to the ground to hear what happens.”

“That’ll decide were we go from here,” Spielberg added.

The movie is due to release in the UK on May 22. (ANI)
