London, October 15 (ANI): Prince Harry is more popular than his brother William in the gay community, a new poll has revealed.

According to the Prince Charming poll, single gay men would prefer to go on a date with Prince Harry than Prince William, though one in 10 revealed that they wanted to be with both at the same time.

The poll conducted by the dating website gay-PARSHIP.com revealed that while 26-year-old Wills received 23 per cent of the votes, his younger brother bagged the popularity title with more than a third wanting to date him.

However, Wills did win a part of the poll for his choice in women.

His girlfriend Kate Middleton was the most sought after royal date among the nations lesbians, with 23 percent wanting to date Kate in comparison to just 18 percent wanting to go with Harrys girl Chelsy Davy.

This fraught romantic vote suggests divided royal loyalties, the Daily Star quoted Adrian Gillan, spokesman for gay-PARSHIP as saying.

Indeed, many gay male singles are so torn they say they would need to date both our young princes, whose female love interests prove only slightly less of a queer pull.

Being part of an inclusive, modern monarchy, William and Harry will be delighted that they and their close circle can arouse such strong emotions from Britains homosexual subjects.

Not long now, surely, before one of them opens a gay community centre or Pride event, becomes an honoured patron of a gay charity or even attends a gay pals civil partnership ceremony? he added. (ANI)
