Four security personnel killed in encounter in J&K

Jammu, Sept 15 (ANI): At least four security personnel were killed and one injured in a gun battle with militants in Jammu and Kashmirs Poonch district today.
According to sources, acting on a tip-off, army troops and police launched a joint cordon and search operation in Tarawali forest belt in Surankote last night. During the operation militants started firing to which the security personnel retaliated.
The slain security personnel were identified as Vishnu, Jurnail Singh, Maqbool Shah and Mohmmad Maroof.
The encounter is still going on, sources said. (ANI)
