Four militants, two Army personnel killed in Baramulla encounter
May 7th, 2010 - 12:59 pm ICT by ANIBaramulla, May 7 (ANI): At least four militants and two Army personnel were killed in an encounter with militants in Baramulla District this morning.
According to sources, acting on a tip off, Army cordoned Rafiabad village, 65 km from Srinagar, in the wee hours.
The search party reached the house where the militants were hiding. The ultras opened fire and in the ensuing gunbattle four militants and two personnel were killed.
The operation was still continuing when last report came in.
