Four Kuki militants killed in Manipur
September 8th, 2009 - 6:11 pm ICT by ANIImphal, Sep 8 (ANI): At least four Kuki Liberation Army (KLA) militants were killed in an encounter with security forces in Manipur’s Ukhrul district.
According to sources, the incident occurred last night when the personnel of 12th Maratha Light Infantry were patrolling Mokot hilly area in the district.
The militants opened fire on them and in the ensuing gun battle four ultras were killed. (ANI)
