Former US Ambassador to India Clarke passes away

New Delhi, Feb 5 (ANI): United States Ambassador to India David C Mulford today announced the death of former United States Ambassador to India William Clarke, Jr.
Ambassador Clarke passed away on January 22 in Washington D C.
Ambassador Clarke served as US Ambassador to India from 1989 to 1992, and as U S Assistant Secretary of State for East Asian and Pacific Affairs from 1992 to 1993.
Ambassador Mulford offered condolences on behalf of the Embassy community to Ambassador Clarkes widow, Judith and to his family and friends around the world. (ANI)
