Foreign Secretary Nirupama Rao to visit Bangladesh

New Delhi, Nov 13 (ANI): Foreign Secretary Nirupama Rao will visit Dhaka on Saturday.
Rao will meet Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Leader of Opposition Khaleda Zia during her two-day visit.
Rao will also hold talks with Bangladesh Foreign Minister Dipu Moni and her Bangladeshi counterpart Touhid Hossain.
This is Rao’s first visit to Bangladesh after taking over as Foreign Secretary in August this year.
Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is scheduled to visit India next month.
India and Bangladesh are expected to sign various treaties during her visit.
It is anticipated that during her visit, Rao will focus on preparing the grounds for Hasina’s visit. (ANI)
