Food safety awareness programme held in Manipur
April 12th, 2011 - 3:15 pm ICT by ANIImphal, Apr 12 (ANI): A two-day food safety and quality awareness programme was recently held here to make people aware about food safety and the changes in Indian cuisine regulations.
The event was organised by the Directorate of Health Services under the aegis of Ministry of Food Processing Industry (MoFPI) and Quality Council of India(QCI).
Representatives of food industry, hotels, students, cottage industries, manufacturers, package industry attended the event.
” The program make people aware of what kind of products to buy and what kind of products to stay away from,” said Hari Prakash, Joint Advisor, Quality Control India. (ANI)
