Follow ‘ethical norms ‘, Special Secretary Bansal tells security personnel in J & K
August 29th, 2010 - 9:44 pm ICT by ANISrinagar, Aug.29 (ANI): U.K Bansal, Special Secretary (Internal Security) in Ministry of Home Affairs, on Sunday asked security personnel deployed in the Kashmir Valley to follow ethical norms of conduct even while facing a grave situation. Bansal, who is on an official visit to Jammu and Kashmir, asked the forces to follow the prescribed norms and codes of conduct in the State.
He said that there should be no breach in the established procedures under any circumstance.He pointed out that there are procedures, which deal with situations of grave provocations. ” We are supporting the State Government in all its efforts to bring about normalcy and move towards a peaceful settlement of the issue,” Bansal stated.
