Five killed, 27 injured in road mishap in Mangalore
October 27th, 2008 - 2:11 pm ICT by ANI - Send to a friend: Mangalore, Oct 27 (ANI): At least five people were killed and 27 injured other injured when a state transport bus rammed against a roadside tree and turned turtle near Bage village early this morning.
According to police, the bus was proceeding to the pilgrimage centre Dharmasthala from Bangalore when the accident occurred.
The deceased were identified as Rajanna, Srinivasamurthy, Marikalegowda, Puttaraju and Mallikarjuna.
The injured were admitted to Hassan hospital. (ANI)
