FIR lodged against Poonam Pandey on charges of obscenity
April 2nd, 2011 - 12:31 pm ICT by ANIBalrampur (UP), Apr 2 (ANI): An FIR has been lodged against Mumbai-based model Poonam Pandey, who has reportedly said that she is ready to strip for Team India if the men in blue win the 2011 World Cup.
According to reports, the FIR was registered against Pandey at Balrampur Dehat police station after Chief Judicial Magistrate Subhash Chandra issued an order to this effect, taking suo motu cognizance of media reports about her announcement.
Poonam Pandey, who has been one of the most searched persons on the internet in the past two days, has said daring to bare is the best way to cheer team India after their win. (ANI)
