Fierce encounter on between Maoist and security forces in Bihar
September 27th, 2010 - 7:32 pm ICT by ANIChaibasa (Bihar), Sep. 27 (ANI): A fierce encounter is going on for the last three days between the Maoists and security forces in the Saranda forest in Bihar’s Chaibasa District.
Around 2000 Special Forces comprising jawans of CRPF, COBRA, Jharkhand Jaguar and local police are involved in the encounter with at least 400 Naxals.
Reportedly, four jawans and one Maoist have been killed.
Maoists have also blown-up Panchayat Bhawan of the Anantpur village near Manoharpur. (ANI)
