Fierce encounter continues in J -K

Poonch (J-K), Jan 4 (ANI): Security personnel continued fierce battle with militants in a more than 50 hours long encounter in Jammu and Kashmir today.
Four militants, one policeman and two soldiers have died in the encounter which began on Thursday in Mendhar area of Poonch district close to Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir.
The militants are suspected to owe allegiance to Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) outfit.
The deceased army personnel have been identified as Subedar Rakesh Kumar and Naik A P Singh of Rashtriya Rifles.
A large number of troops have been rushed to the area.
Search operation is on to find the bodies of the militants. (ANI)
