New Delhi, April 28 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The litigation over who gets to control the Hindu Business Line and The Hindu continued with the warring parties trading fresh accusations against each other. The Kasturi & Sons family members are fighting among themselves to determine who should lead the family’s empire.

On Friday, one of the sides led by N Ram staged a press conference saying all the allegations leveled against him are false. He described some of the claims as defamatory.

The other side of the family led by N Ravi staged fresh allegations against Ram. Speaking from Chennai, Ravi said Ram and his people are engaging in “malafide and arbitrary action by a group of directors masquerading as virtuous professionalisation and restructuring.”

Ravi is seeking the reconstitution of the board which was dissolved by Ram. Ram held his press conference at New Delhi. During the press conference, Ram spoke about the allegations from Ravi. He said that, “The allegations are not only false, defamatory but egregiously defamatory.”

Ravi recently said he may take a legal action against his brother to get the editorial board of The Hindu reinstated.

It seems there is no end in sight for the litigation.
