Jaipur, Mar.22 (ANI): Anoop Choudhary, one of the two pilots accused of forging papers for obtaining license has denied the allegations levelled against him and said he has been framed because of the misdoings of the academy.

“I already have 4000 hours of flying. I have done nothing wrong. I paid the academy the fees money for my course as required. We have been framed because of the misdoings of the academy,” Choudhary said.

Two Spice Jet pilots Anoop Choudhary and Amit Moondra were arrested in Jaipur on Monday, for obtaining commercial pilot license by submitting forged flying certificates.

Umesh Mishra of IG Rajasthan Anti-Corruption Bureau, said their arrest is connected with a case registered with the bureau in which nine persons, including Chief Instructor of Rajasthan Flying School Captain Mohindar Kumar and Assistant General Manager- ATC Sanganer Airport Manoj Jain, have been arrested.

They had issued forged cross-country certificates to the students of Rajasthan State Flying School for wrongful gain, he added.

Earlier, Kumar was suspended after several irregularities came to light when a student of 2006 batch Nidhi Vashistha alleged that he had taken Rupees 11 lakh from her while promising her a pilot’s job in a private airline. (ANI)
