Fake currency racket busted in Uttar Pradesh
September 20th, 2008 - 9:29 pm ICT by ANI Allahabad, Sept 20 (ANI): Uttar Pradesh police busted a gang allegedly involved in fake currency racket here today.
The police have arrested six persons in this connection and has seized more than Rs. one lakh fifty thousand fake currency of different denominations and six vehicles stolen from different places from them.
During the interrogation they have revealed that they had been collecting fake currency from Nepal, Bhutan and Bangladesh and had been circulating it in the market on commission basis. (ANI)
