West Midnapore (West Bengal), Nov.15 (ANI): An elephant calf was found dead west Bengal’s West Midnapore district over the weekend.
The calf, estimated to be about five or six months old, was trampled by a herd of 100 elephants moving towards the Nayagram forest range.
“Big elephants killed the baby elephant. In total 100 elephants came here, and because of these elephants we always have to live in fear. They destroy our farms too. A few days back an elephant killed a man,” said Raghu Shaw, an onlooker. (ANI)
