Duffy confesses being on the verge of nervous breakdown

London, September 29 (ANI): Welsh singer-songwriter Duffy has confessed that she is on the verge of a nervous breakdown after earning fame overnight.
The 24-year-old, who debuted at No.1 on the UK Album Charts with her album Rockferry, has revealed that she has been struggling with the pressure of being a celebrity.
I thought I was superhuman, British tabloid the Sun quoted her as saying.
But there are pressures about being in the public eye, she added.
The singer further said: Im borderline on a nervous breakdown. Im never calm any more. I think: Can I handle this? Do I want to disappear?
Often compared to Amy Winehouse for her singing style, the vocalist, who shot to fame with her No. 1 single Mercy, said: It would be very easy to become a recluse. (ANI)
