Chennai, Mar. 21 (ANI): The doctor who performed an autopsy and postmortem on the body of Sadhick Batcha, the real estate tycoon and key aide of jailed former telecom minister A. Raja, has resigned from government service.

Dr Dekal’s father was a DMK member.

Batcha, 39, was found hanging at his Chennai residence last Thursday. He was declared ‘brought dead’ to Apollo Hospital, Chennai at 1.20 p.m.

According to Central Bureau of Investigation sleuths, he was closely connected to the 2G spectrum money trail,

Dr Dekal had said that asphyxiation was the cause of Batcha’s death, but did not elaborate on the details. (ANI)
